This Privacy Policy the privacy practices of Yokel Technologies Inc. and its respective affiliates (collectively “Yokel”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and how we handle personal information that we collect, use, share through our digital properties that link to this Privacy Policy, including our website, mobile application, browser extensions (collectively the “Service”), as well as through social media, our marketing activities, live events and other activities described in this Privacy Policy. Our commitment is to your privacy and the secure handling of your information.
If you have registered for a Yokel account or we have otherwise obtained your personal information in connection with providing our Services, please see our Yokel Privacy Notice, which applies to our practices.

1. Information We Collect:
– From Restaurants: Yokel collects business-related information, including tax identification numbers, business addresses, and operational details (such as staffing needs and scheduling preferences). Financial information, including bank account details for transferring donations and processing fees, is also collected.
– From Groups: Yokel collects nonprofit-related data, such as tax-exempt status forms, group addresses, contact details, and information about events and participants.
2. How We Use Your Information:
– For Restaurants: Yokel uses restaurant data to schedule and manage fundraising events, process donations, and retarget customers through promotions and offers. This data also helps restaurants avoid scheduling conflicts and optimize staffing during fundraiser days.
– For Groups: Yokel uses group data to help organize fundraising events, promote fundraisers, and facilitate donation collection and processing. Group information may also be used to help market the group’s events and track their effectiveness.
3. Data Sharing:
– For Restaurants: Yokel may share restaurant data (such as business names, locations, and promotional offers) with participating groups and guests to promote fundraising events.
– For Groups: Yokel may share group information with restaurants to facilitate the organization and promotion of fundraising events.

Personal Information We Collect
Information that you provide to us. Personal information you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise includes.
Contact Data, such as your first and last name, mobile phone number, email address, billing and mailing addresses.
Government identification, such as state or local identification number (e.g. driver’s license or state ID number), and an image of the relevant identification; state or local business identification number (e.g. certificate of incorporation or tax identification number or employer identification number).
Profile data, such as account number and password to your Yokel account, date of birth, employment details, bank or credit card number history, biographical details, US residency or citizenship status, income, preferences, or information about your participation in any of our surveys.
Billing data, such as the payment card or bank account numbers that you use to make payments or transfers through the Service.
Financial data, such as information that you authorize us to collect from the financial accounts that you connect to the Service, such as your purchase history, and your donation history using the Service, non-profit affiliation including membership of affiliated non-profit organizations and relationships with such non-profit organizations as well as donations made to or on behalf of such non-profit organizations through the use of the Service.
Data about others, such as the personal information of any children or others that you provide when opening a Yokel account to utilize the Service. We also offer features that help users invite their friends or contacts to use the Service, and we may collect contact details about these invitees so we can deliver their invitations. Please do not refer someone to us or share their contact details with us unless you have their permission to do so.
Transaction data, such as information relating to or needed to complete your orders on or through the Service, including transaction history and information about donations you have made directly or indirectly using the Service.
Communications that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions or feedback, through the Service (including chat and other interactive features), social media, survey participation, or otherwise, as well as any communication that you engage in with other Yokel members via the Chat or Direct Message when using the Service.
We may also collect personal information not specifically listed above, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.
Third-Party Sources
We may combine personal information we receive from you with personal information we obtain from other sources, such as:
Your financial accounts, such as your bank or credit card accounts, when you authorize us to collect your information from them.
Public sources, such as government agencies, public records, social media platforms, Google My Business (GMB), and other publicly available sources.
Data providers, such as information services and data licensors that provide demographic and other information.
Our affiliate partners, such as the companies that participate in our various products and services or other promotional programs who share with us information about your use or purchases of their products or services so we can credit your Yokel account with your purchase or transaction history for rewards or donations credited on behalf of your Yokel account to your linked non-profit organizations that donations may be made on behalf of your purchase or transaction history.
Marketing partners, such as joint marketing partners and event co-sponsors.
Automatic Data Collection
We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, your geolocation data and activity, and your interaction over time with the Service, our communications and other online services, such as:
Device data, such as your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, RAM, disk size, CPU usage, device type (e.g. phone, tablet), IP address, and general location information that can be inferred from the foregoing, such as city, state or geographic area from geographic location data or geolocation data from your device including but not limited to latitude and longitude along with timestamp (date & time at specific locations), and other unique identifiers (including identifiers used for advertising purposes), language settings, mobile device carrier, radio/network information (e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 3G, etc.), desktop and or mobile browser settings, and your phone contact information.
Online activity data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, the website you visited before browsing to the Service, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about our activity on a page or screen, access times and duration of access, and whether you have opened or forwarded any pages or screens, emails, or clicked links within them, as well as zooming in or out of any pages, screens or content.
Precise location data when you authorize the Service to access your device’s location.
Cookies and Other Technologies
The Services utilize the following technologies, which facilitate some of the automatic collection described above:
Cookies, which are files that websites store on a visitor’s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser.
The Service employs both sessions cookies that expire when you close your browser and persistent cookies that remain stored on your device. Some of the cookies on our services allow third parties like our service providers and advertisers partners to collect data needed for the services they provide to us.
The Service employs cookies for the following purposes:
Technical operation. To allow the technical operation of the Service, such as by remembering your selections and preferences as you navigate the Service, and whether you are logged in when you visit password protected areas of the Service.

Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIF’s, which are used to show that a webpage, email address or mobile number was accessed or opened, or that certain content was viewed, tapped or clicked.
Local storage technologies, like HTML5, that provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data on your mobile device outside of your browser or connection with specific applications.
Mobile Application Software Developer Kits (SKDs). We may use SDKs in our mobile applications. A SDK is a third-party computer code that we or our third-party service providers or partners may use for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to, to providing us with analytics regarding the use of our mobile applications, to integrate with social media, add features or functionality to our mobile applications or to facilitate online advertising.
Chat technologies. We use chat technologies provided by third-party vendors that utilize cookies and software code to operate the chat features you can use to communicate with with other Yokel members or with us through the Service. We and such third-party vendors may monitor, record and use information about webpages visited on our website or mobile applications, your IP address, your general geographic location information (e.g. latitude, longitude, city, state, country, etc.), and other information that you share through online chats for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We may use your personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time of collection:
Service Delivery
We may use your personal information to:
Provide, operate, maintain and improve the Service and our business; fulfill your requests for products and services; facilitate your invitations to your friends and contacts who you want to invite to join the Service or invite to fundraisers; communicate with you about the Service, including by communicating with you through chat features, sending notifications, announcements, updates, security alerts, donation alerts, withdrawal alerts, deposit alerts, money alerts, and support and administrative messages; understanding your needs and interests, and personalize your experience with the Service and our communications; and troubleshoot and provide support for the Service, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback.
Marketing and Advertising
We, our service providers and our third-party advertising partners may collect and use your personal information for marketing purposes and advertising purposes.
Direct marketing. We may send you direct marketing communications, including through SMS text message, email or push notifications via our mobile applications. You may opt-out of our marketing communications as described in the Opt-Out Of Marketing section below.
Interest-based advertising. We may engage third-party advertising companies that use cookies and other technologies to collect information about your interaction (including the data described in the Automatic Data Collection section above) over time across the Service, our communications and other online services, and use that information to serve online ads that they think will interest you. This is called interest-based advertising. We may also share users’ contact data with these companies to facilitate interest-based advertising to those or similar users on other online platforms. Promotions. We use personal information to provide promotional programs that we offer, such rewards that we provide to participants in the Yokel Referral Program or to users who refer friends or contacts to Yokel. We may provide these programs in collaboration with affiliate brand partners and other businesses, websites, mobile applications or third parties. Each such program will be subject to and governed by our Terms of Use (create Terms of Use and link to), this Privacy Policy, and any other applicable rules or terms and conditions that we or the relevant third parties may post or make available to you.
Research And Development
We may use your personal information for research and development purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and our business. We may create anonymous, aggregated or anonymized data from your personal information and other individuals whose personal information we collect. We make personal information into anonymous, aggregated or anonymized data by removing information that makes the data identifiable to you. We may use this anonymous, aggregated or anonymized data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and promote our business
Compliance And Protection
We may use your personal information to:
comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities; protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims); audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies; enforce the terms and conditions that govern the Service; and prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including fraud, cyberattacks and identity theft.
Retention
The length of time we retain particular categories of personal information is determined based on whether it is sufficient to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including to satisfy legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements, establish or defend legal claims, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes or fraud prevention.
How We Share Your Personal Information
We may share your personal information with the following parties and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.
Affiliates. Our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business (such as mail delivery, hosting, information technology, chat feature support, customer support, email delivery, text message delivery, marketing, consumer research, and website analytics).
Financial institutions. Yokel uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to gather your data from financial institutions. By using the Service, you grant Yokel and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid Privacy Policy. Yokel may also use financial institutions to process your ACH funds transfers from your funding source bank account to and from Yokel for use of the Service.
Advertising partners. Third-party advertising companies for the interest-based advertising purposes described above.
Affiliate brand partners. When you make a purchase on one of our affiliate brand partner sites, we may share information about you with those affiliate brand partners to operate the relevant promotional program, for example, so that we can credit your account with any earned rewards or donation initiatives.
Third parties designated by you. We may share your personal data with third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so. For example, we may share your personal information with affiliate brand partners or other third-parties with whom we are collaborating in our promotional programs or to offer you additional services. We will share personal information that is needed for these other companies to make the promotion available, provide the services that you have requested and track participation in the promotion or service. Some additional third-parties that we work with that we may share your personal data with include Four Square, Google, Twilio, CloudFlare, Amazon AWS, Apple App Store, Google Android Play Store.
Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
Business transferees. Parties (and their advisors) to business transactions or proposed transactions involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale or other disposition of all or any portion of the business or assets of, or equity interests in, Yokel or our affiliates (including, in connection with insolvency, bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Opt-Out Of Marketing Communications
You may opt-out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us at privacy@yokel.com. Please note that if you choose to opt-out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.
If you receive text messages from us, you may opt out of receiving further text messages from us by replying STOP.
Mobile Location Data
You can disable our access to your device’s precise geolocation in your mobile device settings. Please note that if you disable your device’s precise geolocation in your mobile device settings, our Service may not work properly for your account.
Cookies
Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, our websites or mobile applications may not work properly. You will need to apply these opt-out settings on each device and browser from which you wish to opt-out. Please note that we also may work with companies that offer their own opt-out mechanisms and may not participate in the ad industry opt-out mechanisms that we linked to above.
Do Not Track
Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. Declining To Provide Information
We need to collect personal information to provide certain services. If you do not provide the information we identify as required or mandatory, we may not be able to provide those services.
Close Your Account
To request that we close your Service account or delete your personal information associated with your account, please contact us to request account closure or visit your Account Settings in your account to close your account. Certain personal information associated with your account may be retained after account closure in accordance with our data retention policies where required or permitted by applicable law.
Other Sites And Services
The Service may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties. In addition, our content may be integrated into web pages or other online services that are not associated with us. These links and integrations are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control websites, mobile applications or online services operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites and mobile applications and online services you use.
Security
We utilize, test and regularly re-evaluate reasonable technical, organizational and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and security of the personal information that we collect, both when we receive it and during transit, such as by encrypting credit card numbers and other sensitive personal information that you enter into the Service. However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies and we cannot and do not guarantee the security of your personal information.
International Data Transfer
We are headquartered in the United States and may use service providers that operate in other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to the United States or other locations where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your state, province, or country.
Children
The Service is not intended for use by children under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the Service from a child under 18 in a manner prohibited by law, we will comply with legal requirements to delete it. We encourage parents or guardians with concerns to contact us.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Service. If required by law we will also provide notification of changes in another way that we believe is reasonably likely to reach you, such as via email, push notification, SMS or another manner through the Service. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting the modified version (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). California Privacy Notice
This notice describes our collection, use and disclosure of personal information of California residents in our capacity as a “business” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and their rights with respect to their personal information. For purposes of this California privacy notice, “personal information” has the meaning given in the CCPA but does not include information exempted from the scope of the CCPA, such as information described in our Yokel Privacy Notice pursuant to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
Your privacy rights. If you’re a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:
Right to know. You can request information about the categories of personal information that we have collected; the categories of sources from which we collected personal information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting, sharing and/or selling personal information; the categories of any personal information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and the categories of any third parties with whom personal information was sold, shared or disclosed for a business purpose.
Right to access. You can request a copy of certain personal information that we have collected about you.
Right to deletion. You can request that we delete personal information that we collected from you.
Right to correction. You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we have collected about you.
Right to opt-out. You can request to opt-out of disclosures of your personal information that constitute “selling” or “sharing” of your personal information as defined in the CCPA.
Nondiscrimination. You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination as prohibited by the CCPA.
You may submit requests to exercise your right to know, access, deletion and correction by emailing support@yokel.com or writing to Yokel Legal, 130 W Water Street, P.O. Box 349, Toms River, NJ 08754. The rights described above are not absolute, and in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law. We cannot process your request if you do not provide us with sufficient detail to allow us to understand and respond to it.
Identity verification. We need to verify your identity to process your requests to exercise your rights to know, access, deletion, and correction, and we reserve the right to confirm your California residency. To verify your identity, we may require you to log into your Yokel account if you have one, provide identifiers we can match against information we may have collected from you previously, confirm your request using the email address or mobile telephone number used to make the request, provide government identification, or provide a declaration under penalty of perjury, where permitted by law.
Authorized agents. Your authorized agent may make a request on your behalf upon our verification of the agent’s identity and our receipt of a copy of a valid power of attorney given to your authorized agent pursuant to applicable state law. If you have not provided your agent with such a power of attorney, we may ask you and/or your agent to take additional steps permitted by law to verify that your request is authorized, such as information required to verify your identity and that you have given the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
Information practices. The following describes our practices currently and during the past 12 months:
Sales and sharing of personal information. Our use of the interest-based advertising services described above may constitute “sharing” of your personal information under the CCPA from which you have the right to opt-out. That is because these services use our users’ personal information (specifically, the contact data, device data and online activity data described above in Personal information we collect) to show you ads they think may interest you on other online services. You may opt-out of such sharing by Yokel by clicking ‘Your Privacy Choices’ (add link to footer along with this functionality) at the footer of this site. Your request to opt-out will apply only to the browser and the device from which you submit the request. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by the CCPA, and have no actual knowledge that we have sold or shared the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.
Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that California residents have a right to limit under the CCPA.
Anonymized data. We do not to attempt to re-identify anonymized information that we derive from personal information, except for the purpose of testing whether our deidentification processes comply with applicable law.
Sources and purposes. We collect all categories of personal information from the sources and use them for the business/commercial purposes described above in this Privacy Policy.
Collection and disclosure. The chart below describes the personal information we collect by reference to the categories of personal information specified in the CCPA (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140), and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it. The terms in the chart refer to the categories of information and third parties detailed above in the Personal information we collect section. Information you voluntarily provide to us, such as in free-form webforms, may contain other categories of personal information not described below. We may also disclose personal information to professional advisors, law enforcement and government authorities, and business transferees as described above in the How We Share Your Personal Information section of this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
- Camera Access: Our app requires access to your camera to capture photos. We do not collect or store any images or videos unless explicitly stated.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage data to improve the app’s performance and user experience.
How We Use Your Information
- Any photos or videos captured with the camera are used solely for display.
- We do not share your images or videos with third parties, except as required by law or if third-party services like cloud storage are used to process your data
Data Retention and Security
- We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data, including any photos or videos, is kept secure. We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above.

Certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for “monetary consideration,” as defined under Nevada law, to a person for that person to license or sell such information to others.
